
Bardia Eghbali has worn many hats from graphics and gameplay programming, to game design and technical art. After over a decade of work in games, Bardia co-founded Broken Cane last year to develop and publish Aris Arcanum for which he was the game lead.
In this talk, Bardia discusses the process of achieving the desired visual style of the game and making it run smoothly with optimizations. The semi-technical content should have learnings for both programmers and artists to take away.
