Jani Kahrama is the CEO of Finnish indie game company Secret Exit, which is known for such games as Zen Bound, and the infamous Dismount game series that spans two decades. Jani has over 20 years of experience with Finnish game industry and is in his own words “inconsequential indie by day, assisting the Pelimetsä initiative by night”.
Pelimetsä is an official initiative of the Finnish Game Developers’ Association to provide a simple, transparent, and reliable method to voluntarily address carbon footprints and accomplish something significant together. What started as a charity campaign is progressing into a tool soon available online for anyone to use. In his talk, Jani provides a short summary of what’s been done so far, and what is going to happen next.
